About the Workshop
Experience a Hatha-based yoga class focusing on body detoxifying twists, kriya (cleansing), flow, restful and balancing restorative poses, and stress-relieving breathing exercises. Each day’s class will start with some breathing and Kriyas followed by a simple yoga flow that will help shake off sluggishness and energise your body. We will move into an invigorating and detoxifying asana (postures) to cleanse the body and mind, finishing with a beautiful meditation to set out the intention of this workshop.
For enhanced benefits, our raw food chef Moises Mehl from nood food will customise a 2-day plant-based 3-course vegan menu together with a 1-day juice cleanse (Levels 1-3, Active). At the end of the workshop, we encourage you to continue with plant-based eating for long-term health and wellness.

About The Teacher
Breathe, expand, and challenge yourself, discover something new, and maybe even laugh a little! Anjan began his yoga journey at the age of 6. Since then, he has attended and won accolades in more than 350 yoga competitions across India. Through the practice of yoga, Anjan has become a more mindful person and a tremendously knowledgeable teacher. He has been teaching since 1997 when he was still in high school. 

Anjan's main influences are Jamal Uddin Shek, Sunirmal Kundu, B.K.S. Iyengar and Dibyasunder Das. Since moving to Hong Kong, he has furthered his yoga studies with Patrick Creelman, become a certified Pilates teacher and completed a training with Karen Wightman in children's yoga. Anjan loves to learn! He credits his mom and dad, his colleagues and his students as being his all-time greatest teachers.

Anjan’s classes are loaded with fun and playful postures, smiles and laughter, where students are encouraged to keep it light on their matsand in their lives! He believes that each student, whether new or experienced, is unique in their expectations and experience of yoga. Anjan is highly attentive to the needs of each individual and he aspires to bring more joy to their lives.
